QUICK RESPONSE (QR) CODE

A QR code is a type of barcode that contains grid which is used to store data in a structured format (TechTerm, 2015). It is similar to barcode except that a QR code has the ability to handle more characters, it requires one 10th of the space and can be read from any direction (Shumack, Reilly and Chamberlain, 2013).
This code can be used in industries as well as in education. It is mostly useful in education to generate text or to go directly to a website.
